Building Well

Nearly 1 billion people in the developing world don’t have access to it.  In places like Africa, time lost gathering water and suffering from water-borne diseases is limiting people’s potential.  Some are left to travel many kilometers to get safe drinking water; which ends up taking time from learning and developing. Allah says in the Qur’an, ‘And whoever saves one [a life] - it is as if he had saved all of mankind’. (Qur’an, 5:32) Imagine this - every single time the clean water you donated saves someone’s life, it is as if you have saved all of mankind! Help building a well today and save thousands of lives.

Orphanage

Third World countries are in dire need of orphanages. Zeina INC aims to provide a safe haven for orphans to feel loved, nurtured, increase their knowledge in the deen. In Islam, it is the right of a child to be protected, taken care of physically, psychologically and emotionally. Prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him) was himself an orphan. From Sahl bin Sa’ad (may Allah be pleased with him), he said: “The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam said: “I and the one who looks after an orphan will be like this in Paradise,” showing his middle and index fingers and separating them.” [Sahih al-Bukhari]

Building a Masjid

As Muslims, we know that without personal and spiritual development, there can be no social development. There are many villages throughout the regions in Mali who do not have a masjid. Many pray under tents made out of wood that is vulnerable to the heat and cold. With your help villagers can be united as a community to practice and better understand their faith.  Narrated by Umar bin Al-Khattab "I heard the Messenger of Allah (saw) say: 'Whoever builds a masjid (mosque) in which the Name of Allah is mentioned, Allah will build a house for him in Paradise.'  At a little to no cost, help build your palace in Jannah.
